Young schoolgirl Doremi Harukaze is interested in magic, although the spells she tries out won\'t work at all. But one day she identifies the owner of a magic shop as a witch. And as witches\' law demands, the shop owner turns into a small blob-like witch-frog, now that her true identity has been reveiled. And her only chance to return to her human form is to accept Doremi as her apprentice and let her become a witch, too. And soon Doremi\'s school friends join her in the studies of witchcraft.
