i can't say the video is the best. pixelation when high motion scenes and fast changing scene. this is due to compression, and cbr encoding.

very good anime, i like hideaki anno, though he only made half of the series. this is a MI rip. as i noticed the green symbol flashing right before AS's symbol is cunningly put on top of the MI's :P check out the perfect collection rather than this editon

A safe buy of a highly enjoyable series.

This series is really cool. It really a more realistic version of everyday life on anime. The characters are really interesting. Too bad it ended so soon.

This set i think might be a rip from MI. There was one time when MI logo would come out and then AS logo comes out to replace it. Any way, i don't own MI version but just like it, this has turbo subs. The subtitles for the most part are accurate and good. But it's just too fast at times. But i did get used to it. Plus on screen dialogue are not translated but i didn;t loose any part of the story and usually it is predictable what is said. Overall, this is a good buy. Plus unlike the MI version, this has no missing episode promblem. I read about the MI version that it is missing episode 5.5 but this one has it. As far as i can tell, this set has all the episode making it better than the MI version.
