This is very similar to "Ah! My Goddess!". First: In content - substitute nordic goddesses for moon spirits, and you'll know what the series is about. Second: It's assumed that you know the manga. None of the characters are introduced in this OVA. This is melancholic/romantic magical girlfriend stuff. I liked it very much. If your "Engrish" is proficient enough, get this set. If you don't like below average HK subs, stay away.
