This is the best little macross series. If you love macross or a story with a hero this is for you. This a fast paced story with some slow parts for important dialog.

The video and audio and subs are probably all Region 1 rips since the Manga Entertainment logo comes up every now and then. No English dub, though. The video is very good but the colors look too dark. (3.5/5) The audio is fine, which is good since I like the music in this series. (4/5) The subs, grammatically and spelling wise, are almost perfect. There are a handful of lines that aren't subbed (but you can easily guess what they're saying), and occasionally the subs lag behind by a line. But this doesn't happen very often (for a scene or two per episode) so it's not really a problem. (4/5) Overall, this is a set that's a safe buy unless you desire perfection (then buy the Region 1's!).
