Video:
The video is pretty poor; it's very soft, and generally not encoded very well. The colours aren't particularly wonderful (though the movie is quite dark to begin with), etc. The transfer isn't anamorphic. The person who complained about black bars on the sides obviously doesn't understand some basic fundamentals of how televisions work... you won't see them on a TV, unless your DVD player does overscan (which you should be able to disable).
Audio:
There's nothing really wrong with it, it doesn't drop out, etc... it's certainly not a DTS source like the package would imply, however! 192kbps AC3 2.0.

Comment:
The R1 is $27 from Amazon, I would recommend buying it if you have the money. I don't generally buy movies on HK DVD, because the R1 discs aren't too expensive (as movies go...). I only bought this because there was no R1 relase back then, I doubt I would buy it nowadays. I've posted about 20 screenshots, check them out!
