Its an average rated dvd. A definite buy if you're a CCS fan. The story ends the series and is a lot better than the first one, so get this if you're hook on to CCS. But do watch the series before you get this, cuz' you won't have a clue whats going on. Will maybe a little.

decent quality (non-anamorphic 16/9)

Audio:

2ch stereo. you can understand every character but the audio breaks up continually so it gives a sort of crackling sound. EXTREMELY annoying. The volume also seems a bit low a times.

Subtitle:

Not comparable with the subs of the series or those of the first movie. they are understandable but I thought they were HK-original.

Comment:

Although this dvd is has lowest quality of the whole series, the story does offer a nice conclusion to the series. If no better release is available I'd say get this one to know how it all ends. Otherwise wait for a better HK or the R1 release

The story-line of second movie was definitely superior to the first movie and was an amazing conclusion to the TV series (so I don't advise watching until you finish the series). The plot is classic CCS, Sakura must sacrifice something very important in order to make things right, and this is the main dilemma of the film. Since I'm something of a sucker for romance…I was delighted to watch Sakura attempt to express her feelings to Li Shaoran. Sakura and Li even get matching costumes courtesy of Tomoyo. As great as the movie is, the extra is just as cute. kero-chan introduces suppi-chan to the wonders of takoyaki.

Very bad: the characters' voices are hardly audible.

I had to watch the film twice, carefully listening to what the characters were saying to finally understand it.

Card Captor Sakura The Movie: The Enchanted Card, is the second CCS theatrical production, and, according to Clamp, the last CCS anime we'll ever see (;_;). The movie takes place after the 3rd season, and involves a mysterious never-before-seen Clow Card. It's a fitting end to the CCS saga. Lots of action and drama. Video: 6/10. Very clear, very bright. No analog noise. However, the compression is just plain ugly, and very aparent in action scenes. A stark comparison to the beautiful video quality of the first movie by AS. Audio: 9.0/10. Loud and crisp. No noise or dropouts. Subtitles: 6.5/10. HK subtitles. Comprehension and grammar isn't quite engrish, but it will make anyone who's read the fansub script cringe. Japanese names are thankfully used. Overall, it's quite the average release. The one included extra (a small feature invovling kero-chan and suppi-chan chasing down an errant takoyaki) isn't enough to pull the release out of the mediocre bin. It's nice if you're a needy CCS fan, but don't expect too much.
