Jesus... -_- Video-- (5/5) The video on this disc is pretty awesome! Very nice, and pretty. Audio-- (2/5) Not so hot. Perhaps it is my player, but the audio REALLY ceases to amaze me. Subtitles-- (0/100) Jesus! These discs have the WORST subtitles I have EVER seen. With lines like "A Large Scale Robot Makes Representatioin in the big city!", and "HI, STOP!". Content-- (5/5) It's a shame that this extrordinary series is destined to have these horrible, horrible discs. Stay away, chillins.

Excellent video and audio. The biggest problem are the subs. Terrible. Barely or not even understandable. Buy the Region one set since this one is just a waste of money.

Holy space monkey! When watching this set I was reminded of that scene from Fist of the North Star when Shin swings the cumbersome saw into the cranium of some stinky mohawk roid baby and then the guy says this: "I've got a splitting headache." The subtitles on this set defy every rational law of the English language -- and then some. It's pure Chinglish, my friends. Everyone's names are screwed up (mostly American -- Roger becomes "Laioji", Dorothy is "Talousai", etc.) and there is no way you can follow the convoluted nonsense that this show shovels down your throat. It is worth watching though for some golden lines, such as "a large-scale robot makes representation" and "you have bad eye sight with the clothes." Everything else though it pretty tip-top. If you have some sort of grasp with the Japanese language and scoff at my infantile need for subtitles, then by all means, go ahead and pick it up. The quality is on-par with the official release.
