Reviews for Iria: Zeiram the Animation

Looks to be a R1 or R2 rip.

Audio:

Same here, its a R1 or R2 rip.

Subtitle:

This is more of a mixed situation. The subs have some spelling error's, but nothing to bad. The real problem for me atleased come's from some missing subs, now those do bother me. At some points, you lose the subs, making it hard to understand what is going on (a few time's at critical points). They always come back. The grammer quality & sentence structure seems to be R1 or fansubs quality, with some grammer error's. The names seem to be correct.

Comment:

A nice set, with only some minor sub problems (i have seen a LOT worse). I'll post a review of the AS R1 rip, after i get it (and watch that one also :)

seems fine to me, I don't see any grain or farley little grain at all. There's no color bleeding as far as I can tell either.

Audio:

sounds fine. No crackles or popping.

Subtitle:

These are great imo. I havn't ran into to much engrish(if not any). They seem to be timed right and havn't had to put up with a 'run of the screen' sub.

Comment:

Well this is my first reveiws. So please bare with me. I changed my Subtitle score, put it to 3.5 instead of 4/5. At the end of ova 2(I think) about 3-5 mins is raw at the end of pretty much every OVA. I'm at episode 5 now, and so far it stand true at the end of every OVA is raw japanese. So if this bothers your extremely bad, you may not want to buy this. Find the R1(if that's possible). It doesn't bother me much. If you can tolerate raw anime for a limited time, buy this ^_^ My first review :( Packaging-it comes in a nice little 2 disc gate fold holder. It's the type where the plastic dvd cases are just glued to the box. Some people bicker that there cheapley made. I like it, I'm not complaining. Nice artwork also. Extras-none. Chapters-There's 10 chapters per disc and 3 ova's on each disk. So I'm thinking--Beginning-middle-end-repeat-repeat-credits------ There's an opening and a new OVA begining(it's where a new episode would start) and it says the Title in English. [edit] Looked into chapters. Overall-It's nice. I couldn 't find the R1's so this will do. If you like Iria or seen it on Sci-fi ages ago, pick this up. You won't be disappointed. edited by Ghostlymagi on 06 Aug 2002 9:56 pm

Video: No problems here, must be a R2 rip. 5/5 Audio: A great 2ch japanese track. 5/5 (no 5.1 version on the market, so it´s the best you can find). Subs: Very good but not perfect. 4/5. Maybe you can consider the R1 if you live is US, if not it´s a great buy. edited by Blakaman on 18 Mar 2002 4:39 pm
