Video quality is excellent. Absolutely no complaints here. The action was a little hard to follow when there was a lot of black on the screen, but I'm pretty sure it was just because I was watching it using my computer.

Audio:

Great audio quality. I have absolutely no complaints about this either. The audio sounded crisp and clear throughout both disks.

Subtitle:

Subtitles were good for the most part. The only problems were that sometimes the end of the sentence would have the period or other punctuation marks spaced out such as: "So , you are the one they call Kenshin ." No big problem really. Spelling and grammar were great though.

Comment:

The box was entirely in chinese which is kind of annoying, but the menus included an English label next to the Chinese label of what each menu option was.

Video:

R1 rip, simply superb!

As vanfanel mentioned, only a misspelled word here and there... high quality stuff!

If you still don't have this set, go for it right now! This series is a masterpiece and it is a must-see, even for those which are not very fond of RK.

They seem to be a R1 rip, so no problems that i can remenber. Except for a couple times when there were "spaces" between some words. Kinda odd, don't know if the R1 has this prob also...

I think it's just a Rip of the R1 dvds, without the Dub . Don't know why 2 DVDs, it could easily be just 1 DVD...

... most of you. However there was one thing that I didn't like. Why do they need 2 Discs??? I have seen 3 (great) full length movies on 1 disc and there were no problems. Besides the annoying lift up from the comfortable bed, there is also the danger of paying too much. A somehow informed HK DVD buyer would consider 2 DVDs would have at least 5 hours of anime. Still, I didn't regret the buy. It's a fantastic anime.

they aren't bad! But they are sometimes timed off and have grammatical errors. BLEH! Don't get me wrong, this set IS worth the money!

The video is crisp. The audio is wonderful. The only thing that makes this set less than perfect is the subtitles. The subtitles are not bad enough to be incomprehesible, however they do get annoying a lot of the time. The story is so great that it really doesn't matter. Oh! and the case is beautiful! I love it.. however, I do not see why they didn't put the set on one disk. There is plenty of room without degrading the quality. Quick Review Video| 5/5 audio| 5/5 subtitle| 3.5/5

Most reviews sum it up for me. This realease was very good. I would have liked extras, but maybe i'm asking a little too much from this dvd. video = 5/5 - i could tell where everything was even in dark spots audio = 5/5 - very good. lovely in digital subs = 5/5 - i could understand it and didn't see any problems

This a great release. MI did a real good job. Video: excelent Sound: Excelent SubTitles: good (as with most people I did find the letter space issue on my copy but it did not really bother me. Overall I would definately recomend this to anyon.

Awesome DVD with great video and audio quality. The subs weren't all that great but it is a great DVD. I totally recommend this.

Near perfect. Video, Audio and subs are all ripped from the R1 Samurai X version. If you compare it to that, it's allmost perfect. Sometimes though, there was a little problem with the subs. The letter M would be before a space: Hi, I'm M arkaveli ! But nothing too bad. Also, this only occurs on the first disc if I recall correctly. Recommended.

Great release with perfect video straight from the R1 release, the subs are also perfect,probably taken from the region one, and the sound is also perfect. Highly Recommended!!!!
