Video:
No pixelation on this set it?s basically the same as the first two sets in that department. Even on a huge TV 36 inch I believe there are no picture problems.
Audio:
The audio is good once again no problems here.
Subtitle:
The subtitles are the same as previous sets clear and easy to read nothing else to note.
Comment:
This is the fourth part of Inuyasha and it ends at about the halfway point as far as the series is concerned. This set is like the others pretty good and the episodes throughout this series have ranked from excellent to pure trash. But if you have the other sets and you want to continue the series this is defiantly the way to go.

Great video, having 6 episodes per disc really pays off. None of that pixelization and such, even when watching up close which I don't reccommend. I watched on a 27' TV.
Audio:
I watched with the japanese audio and there were no problems, I did check english audio from time to time to see how they translate some things, the dub was suprisingly good
Subtitle:
Wow pretty much perfect. Yellow subs great timeing no mistakes. The subtitles do differ from what is said on the english dub which was expected
Comment:
Really great set not many episodes(18) but almost identical to their(FX) previous releases. Extras are crappy only offering episode promos for the first 3 episodes on each disc.

The Picture was a great, no pixalation or anything, unlike the 3rd Boxset which was 9-6-3, FX have learned from that mistake.
Audio:
Fantastic Audio, no problems or anything, i also listened to it in english as well as japanese, both were AB-FAB!!!
Subtitle:
Good, simple and easy to read.

The video on this set was excellent! No banding, pixelation, odd coloration, graininess or issues with playback. The quality was great on both PC DVD and large screen television. No skipping or stalling either. Wonderful video, FX did another great job!
Audio:
Audio clear and easy to listen to. I listen to the Japanese, but I watched an episode in English and it seemed right on the money too. No syncing problems or odd volume problems. This set seems to be pretty much perfect!
Subtitle:
FX outdid themselves this time. No complaints about subtitles. I prefer them because I hate the americanization of the series. I like the traditional Japanese touch to the translation of the subtitles. They were easy to read and never flashed by too fast.
Comment:
Great set! If you have the others, this is a must buy! I love this series and it's especially great for people starting out in anime. Got my brothers addicted through this series!

Proving that the odd episode distribution on the Third perfect collection was indeed some sort of brain fart on FX's part, Part 4 returns to a much more even 6 episodes per 3 discs (Yes, thats 18 episodes for the less mathematically inclined). This being the case, the video quality was very good throughout. Everything is clear and crisp, and theres no real motion blurs to speak of; so without anything to criticize it gets a 5.
Audio:
Audio gets the same score as Video for essentially the same reason. Nothing to complain about, so 5 it is.
Subtitle:
The subtitles on this series have always been top notch. Its a very accessable translation of the Japanese without being too "Americanized". I find them to be a desirable alternative to the dub, though the dubbing itself is by no means terrible. But the delivery of dialogue, especially the more humorous bits, seems much more natural in the original Japanese (so long as you don't mind a little reading). Besides, even a half demon screaming "Iron Reaver Soul Stealer!!!" sounds pretty dorky in English.
Comment:
For those keeping score, these 18 episodes would be approximately the first two thirds of season 3 as it aired in Japan. (At least according to the episode list that I've seen) I personally feel these episodes have a solid quality running through all of them that improves on the story telling already prevelant in previous seasons. The character development is certainly more interesting as even secondary characters like Shippo get an increased share of the spotlight, the first episode in the collection being a great example. Also, there is decidedly less rehashing of previous episodes than there used to be, which is great because Inuyasha getting shot by Kikyo was really becoming redundant. I guess they assume that if you don't know about the main plot points of the story by now, you're a lost cause. More Naraku, more Koga, a rebellious Kagura, and the introduction of a dark preistess all make this set well worth having. Buy it. Now. Seriously.
