Overall:
Video:
The video looks like ass-when you take 12 dvd5's and squeeze then down to 6 dvd5's-guess what happens? It looks like shit-tons of macrblocking-artifacts up the ass, you get the idea. If MAC wasn't so cheapass and had used dvd9's and had taken full advantage of the space-but no-they're too damn cheap.
Audio:
Very good basic stereo, english is a little softer than the japanese, I guess ac3 5.1 soundtracks are usually a little louder than ac3 2 channel is.
Subtitle:
I don't use subs but a spot check revealed they were very good. The secondary subs for signs, etc. are helpful.
Comment:
I just wish I had gotten this set before I had gotten the 2nd box set for season 1. Very enjoyable series that doesn't take itself too seriously. My favorite character has got to be Strike Man. Funny shit!! The english dub here is outstanding!!

Video:
No noticable pixelation throughout the series, but it was present in a few action scenes. The extras at the very end were very pixelated - probably because they were squeezed in at the very end (interviews with english voice actors) and heavily compressed.
Audio:
Nothing wrong with audio, both english and japanese audio tracks were without errors.
Subtitle:
Nothing poorly translated and all subbing were error free from as far as I can tell.
Comment:
The packaging for this set cracked some of the DVDs, so you might want to be careful. This isn't a bad series and is fairly lighthearted. While it might not be memorable for a lot of people, it's still great for humor - although at times it feels like an afterschool special made for teenagers.
