The Video gets a 4 ½ stars because there is some pixelation from time to time and although it?s for at most a second or two. Other than that small detail the videos really good. The fight scenes looked really nice too and I don?t recall seeing any pixilation during them which was really good.

Audio:

All was good with the audio quality it was nice and loud how it should be The only thing was that at first the voices were a little bit annoying but they really do grow on you. As the last reviewer said the voices are full of emotion and you can truly get the feel of the characters mood and mindset. The Japanese audio was also fine I checked it once or twice briefly and everything worked alright.

Subtitle:

The subtitles were good didn?t see any grammar or spelling mistakes really good for the entire series.

Comment:

this series won?t revolutionize anime or go down as a legend its really good. As a past reviewer said it really is like a comic book and in the later episodes I kept seeing the image of Wolverine and Cyclops from the old X-Men comics, cartoon etc. So yeah it really did end up becoming enjoyable and better than I expected. For me it was one of the many series that prove you cannot judge based on the first few episodes. Kazuma had to be one of the coolest characters I?ve ever seen in an anime and Straight Cougar was very funny. FX did a pretty good job on this set overall and the Alters were really cool. So it?s defiantly worth the price.

Good animation, especially for the fight scenes but still, nothing amazing. Character designs were ok, alter designs were very good looking.

Audio:

I loved the english dub for this series. The voices were full of emotion and loud. (not all the time) The yelling, growling, crying was pretty good too; it sounded really real for an anime.

Subtitle:

Good subbing. Proper grammer(as far as I could tell), made sense, proper timming(verygood timing), and appropriate vocabulary for most of the characters(Although this is why it got a 5). Another thing about the subs is that they would give you a different translation to what the people were saying which i enjoy, because it gives you a fuller range of interpretation of what the original japense was saying.

Comment:

I thoroughly enjoyed the series and I loved the characters. I don't think i've ever seen a character in an anime i've liked more than Kazuma. Story has enough plot twists to keep you interested and has a couple underlying meanings which is a plus for those who watch and think about anime. Scheris is a babe.

Some pixelation, happened around 6 or 7 times. Didn't last for more than a second. I noticed them the most in the first disk. Two or three times the dvd skipped - again, didn't last for more than a second.

Audio:

Only watched in english dub and that audio was great. Loud (the way I like it) Kaname and Charise's english voice were so adorable!

Subtitle:

I'm giving this a 5 because there is no N/A option.. only watched in english dub. I had the subtitles turned on for songs and titles. For the songs, it gave the subtitles in japanese and the english subs underneath it, which was quite nice.

Comment:

Great anime. I enjoyed watching it for the action and the characters. The plot was okay - interesting but wasn't really mind-boggling. Not a confusing plot, not a new concept, but the anime made it it's own. The opening theme song I thought was from Ricki Martin but I liked it - It was catchy. Glad I bought this set.

Almost no pixelation. However, unlike the other reviewers I did have some minor skipping problems. These generally only skipped ahead a couple seconds and only happened a couple times on each disc. Other than that this set is perfect.

Audio:

Superb audio. Didn't listen using surround sound but everything was synched perfectly and sounded great.

Subtitle:

The subtitles were awesome. I watched the show in english but turned on the subtitles for several episodes throughout the series and the text matched up extremely well to what they were saying in english.

Comment:

This is one of the best animes i've seen. There is a lot of action and there characters are simply amazing. Every character in this series has their own distinct personality. I just hope the little bit of foreshadowing they do at the end means there will be another season!

B-E-A-yoooootiful. Yeah... that's BEAutiful with a capital B-E-A. s.CRY.ed is an -extremely- colorful show, and the color on this DVD set transfer is superb. I rarely noticed even a smidgen of pixelation during even the most intense action scenes, and had zero skipping/blocking problems. FX strikes again! (see uploaded screenshots for video clarity - took a couple purposely during high-action scenes to show the quality when there's a lot of movement).

Audio:

Practically flawless... I hate giving 5's unless something -really- blows me away, but I was close with this set. Zero complaints. The Japanese and English voice tracks are both perfect, and the soundtrack comes through clear and crisp. Again... FX delivers.

Subtitle:

Clearly this set is from a good source, so I didn't notice any issues here. I only watched a couple of the episodes with the subs, however, so I can't verify that the quality remains constant... I would be highly surprised if it didn't, however, given the source.

Comment:

s.CRY.ed really did blow me away. It has a very unique style to it... colorful and cartoony, like a living comic book. The action is wonderfully stylish (watch Kazuma's pivot movements during his fights... makes my jaw drop from the cool factor -every- single time). The character designs seem to be a throwback in some cases (Cougar), and very modern and sleek in other cases (Ryuuho). I can't really say enough good things about this series... do yourself a favor, and pick up this set ASAP. Blew... me... away.

The video is abit above average but not the best i have seen with small problems during fast fights. (which can be a problem as this anime has alot of fighting.

Audio:

I lost alittle volume on the second disk but not by much, all you need to do is turn it up. but be careful because its not that way on the whole disk.

Subtitle:

English subtitles were ok. *note- R-1 rip*

Comment:

One of the best anime i have ever seen. I watched it from begining to end 3 times now because its such a good story. The action is some of the best in any action series. I recommend this title to anyone that wants to be sitting in front of their TV for hours of greatness. If you like GundamSeed your gonna love this.
