Perfect. Nothing wrong with it. -forgot to add that they show the MI logo for a few seconds one time on each disc... but you could figure that out by reading the other reviews.

Audio:

Again, perfect.

This is why I decided to write this review. I sold this set to a friend and was at his house a week ago watching them. He likes to watch sets with subs on so I watched 7 episodes with the subs. I saw NOTHING wrong with the subs whatsoever. As far as I could tell they were R1 rips. I have no idea what the other reviewer is talking about.

Comment:

Great series. One of my favorites. The R1's are a perfect example of what region 1 companies should do with releases for a series. They only cost about $35-40 to buy the R1's, but if you wanna save $15-20 go with the HK's.

I watched this series on a generic 21" Flatscreen TV and found no problems at all with the video, the only gripe I have is the Manga International logo on the screen for about 10 secondas on some of the episodes, this was a let down I am afraid, other than that great video!

Audio:

Audio was perfect coming through my stereo no problems,

Subtitle:

Absolutely horrible really bad ENGRISH , thank god for the decent english dub.

Comment:

Came in a nice gate fold box, with the usual DVD push to release clips keeps the DVD's nice and secure, The covers are nice but the back is in Japanese, The plastic cover over the set is clear so you can see the box art perfectly, I like this and prefer it over FX's frosted glass look. Overall good set, especially the Hot springs planet episode, Good Viewing

Not the best video quality here. Large amounts of pixilation and the ocassional macroblocking. It is about on par with the FX unremastered Cowboy Bebop set. You will hardly notice on a regular tv, but on a high res setup, you will definately notice the differance. There was no skips on my dvd player, however another anomaly is present. Durring playback a few frames of a scene previously shown will flash for a faction of a second. This happens a few times durring the whole set. It does not affect the audio sync or the rest of the playback. ANNOYING. Yes, there is one major flaw in this set however. The good people of Manga MI decided to hardcode their logo into the video at the begining of a few episodes, as well as add text displaying their website address. And even tho this is only shown on about 3 or 4 episodes of the whole set, it will ruin the whole experiance for you if you are a stickler for near-perfect quality.

Audio:

Decent audio. No problems to report here. They did a pretty good job on the dub's, so take your pick.

Subtitle:

The subs appreared to be fine, however I watched this set dubbed and only glanced at the subs.

Comment:

Do not make the mistake and buy this set like I did. I have already unloaded it and am going to pick up the FX set asap. I suggest you do the same. Good series, bad set.
