Video:

Very good, especially disc 1 which is DVD-5. All of it appears to be R1 sourced.

Audio:

Great all the way. It's also a very good soundtrack.

Subtitle:

Discs 1: 4.5/5. Disc 2: 3/5. The subtitles are pretty good on disc 1, but get Enrishy on disc 2. The names are nearly always correct, but the subtitles become rushed and references are made to the wrong characters, sex or statements are reveresed. However, I got most of what was going on. The biggest problem was the dicussions between key characters at the end where I got lost too often. So, this is not the definative set to me, I'll be after the R1s as soon as they are out. I got this as a filler until then...

Comment:

This was the AV set with the characterstic font. This is actually one of my top 10 favourite series and is a good compromise between dark, comedy and mecha. I'm so glad season 2 was made - I've been checking for ages and now it comes to DVD. Recommended series, but an average set.
