Video:

Video is pretty good, this is most definetly an R2 rip, colors are good, just a little case of the jaggies in some scenes.

Audio:

Very good, no noticeable distortion or humming, etc.

Subtitle:

I don't know were the other reviewer was, but there are english subs present here, they have a lot of grammatical errors, but all the names are correct and the genders are also correct (in Aoi's case it really wouldn't matter).

Comment:

If you like You're Under Arrest you gotta have this in your collection, the episodes are short and very funny. There's a lot more fanboy stuff here than in either of the tv series, humour abounds. The same person who did Oh My Goddess is responsible for this series.

Video:

Very good R2 rip, I notices some pixellation during some action sequence during Episode 1 through 4 (it only last for 1-2 seconds), but after that, you don't see them anymore. The action sequence also look a little grainy at times, but it's very minor. This anime is 4 years old (1999) but on the DVD, it doesn't look like a 4 years old anime (I wished that they used Aoi looks from the 2nd season of You're Under Arrest, I like seeing her with her dark-haired)

This takes the cake. In the DVD cover, they say that there is a english subtitled included in it however, THERE IS NONE IN IT, talk about false information to customers that buys the DVD. It didn't bother me because I understand japanese, but for those that don't know Japanese, you need to guess what they're saying. The episode are easy to understand, so try figuring out the rest. One thing that annoys me is when you played the anime, the chinese subtitled CAN'T be removed, so you're stuck with it for 3 straight hours. It's a shame about the subs, it's the first DVD that I got with no english subtitled. Thank god, I understand it.

Comment:

The show is really good. In 1 episode, you got 4 mini-episodes of 6:30 minutes each, a lot of them was hilarious. So in all, you get 5 episodes that contains 20 mini-episodes and Episode 6 has none, it's 25 minutes non-stop at the beach (you should see Natsumi and Miyuki in bathing suits, god WHAT A SITE TO SEE). In a couple of episode, Natsumi opens her big mouth toward the chief so Miyuki ends up doing some assignment agaisnt her own will thanks to Natsumi. We don't see much of Ken Nakagima in it, I was kind of dissapointed because I loved when he gets nervous with Miyuki. No Muxia either. One episode that I liked the most was the fake boobs one (Episode 5, 2nd mini-episode). Some people were robbed because they were seduced by somebody who was showing them their boobs during the night. They go to the police station to described the bust size of it (all the male cops listens carefully to the case) then they sketches it. They want a female officer to verify the bust, so Natsumi and Miyuki beats everybody up HAHAHHAAHA That episode really cracks me up. Many of them of the mini-episode were interesting with purse snatcher, a robber with a pocket knive, plenty of pervert watching girls on the binocular, panty theft, the action is non-stop, not of them is boring. Plenty of fan service on Episode 6. DROOL DROOL DROOL Overall, if you understand Japanese, buy it cause it's a MUST, otherwise don't bother with it. Buy the R1 version but Episode 6 is not in it (I don't think it will be released because it's only 25 minutes). But it's a very good show, I loved the YUA series HIGHLY RECOMMANDED I repeat myself again. IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND JAPANESE, don't buy it because there is no english subtitled in it even do they say that there is one on the DVD cover.
