Simply gorgeous, looks like a R2 rip. No pixellation during the race scene, no bluriness, very clean graphic. The only complaint I have is during Mako shower scene, her lower half is censored (you see white fog, Mako has a great body, Iketani BAKA)

Audio:

I love it when an anime has a 5.1 dolby digital sound option. On my surround sound, it's like you are on the driver seat, very clean sound. Simply PERFECT

Subtitle:

4 mispelled words in all like cell=cel, everyone=everone, 2 missing subline, a few syntax error and that's it. The subtiming is perfect and the translation from Japanese to english is simply awseome. All the Initial D sub (first, second and third stage) really have great subtitle, only few mispelled word and the rest is A-Okay

Comment:

Finally, we get to see a lot of Mako and Sayuki in this anime. The first half of the Extra Stage is a mini-war with Team Emperor. Kyouishi right hand man (Hawk) challenges the Sil-Eighty to a battle on Mt Usui. I wished they put more time for this segment. I wanted a real war with the Emperor for supremacy on Usui but Kyouishi doesn't appear in the anime. The segment was really good. The other half involves romance especially for Mako. She still has a brokenheart since Iketani never showed up for their meeting. Sayuki sets her up with the leader of the Night Kids Takeshi, one of the segment I like was when Mako point her finger in the sky then bang (like shooting on Iketani) so in the gas station where Iketani worked, he start sneezing for a reason HAHAHAHA. Poor guy, never knew what it him. Nice romance segment Overall, I really like it. I would have liked to use more time with Team Emperor but 55 minutes went so fast that I could'nt believed that it was already over. A side story with them was simply a great idea, Mako and Sayuki only appeared on the first stage so I wanted to see them again. I wasn't dissapointed VERY RECOMMANDED
