Reviews for Yu Gi Oh Volume 16
Video:
Audio:
Subtitles:

Overall:

Video:

Video 4.5/5: R2 rips, some pixelation, nothing that I care about though.

Audio:

Audio 5/5: Same as always

Subtitle:

Subs 4/5: Ok, these subs are a mixed bag. They seem to have everyone but Anzu's name correct, and have mispellings, a little bit more engrishy lines on the episodes after Battle City. Nothing bad, all understandable.

Comment:

This volume brings us the final episodes to Battle City, and boy were they great. BC was a very enjoyable arc, especially the Yami Yugi vs Yami Malik battle. Anyone who hasn't seen these episodes are in for a real treat. The next episode, is a clip show, which has Anzu and Shizuka talking about various battles that happened during Battle City. I skipped past most of the episode. Finally, the last three episodes on the disc begin a new arc, the Doom Organization. While it seems to be interesting, being a filler arc until the Pharoah's Memories saga is completed in the manga (which may be the final saga), and currently up to ep 180 is really annoying. First of all, the God cards have been stolen. If Yugi got them stolen that quickly, he doesn't deserve to be a pharoah. Anyway, this arc may be interesting, but I'm going to want this one over with quickly so the real story can move on. Well, if you have stuck with Yu-Gi-Oh! this far, you will enjoy these episodes, or most of them.
