Overall:
Video:
The video is the same as all previous DVDs. Taken directly from the R2 DVDs, it is a perfect rip. My only problem is that a few times (5 total), the video pixelates and then goes out but the total problem is under 2 seconds each time. Thus, it is not a perfect 5.
Audio:
I heard no problems as I listened to this through a stereo system. Near perfect.
Subtitle:
Overall, a near perfect translation. The names areslightly mispelled, but completely understandable who is being talked about and the names are always spelled the name way. The storyline is unaffected by any of the following problem. I'd like to give this a 5 since it is such a difficult translation, but my problem is that there are several episodes where the subtitles don't match what the people are saying (usually the opposite of what is meant) and often names and places are just given the title "ddd" instead of a real name. Kind of upsetting but doesn't take away from the storyline at least.
Comment:
The story continues in unexpected directions. For those people who like history as it happens, this is a great series, both the good and the bad.
