Comment:

This is a 2 episode OVA sidestory of the Impact Blue, Mako and Sayuki. It was good, but not as good as the Initial D series. You do get a nice scene of Mako in the shower though. ^_^ All in all, it was good, I recommend it.

Video:

Very clean and crisp video. Didn't have any problem whatsoever. R1 DVD quality.

Audio:

No English dub, only Jap audio. But that's what most ppl prefer anyway. VA is excellent, and music is very clear. BTW, Initial D is known for its awsome techno music during races. Only problem is that volume is little low. But you can increase the sound of your TV or computer. So I would consider this a problem.

Subtitle:

Grammer is great, spelling mistake is minimal, and character name is consistant. In other word, perfect. However, it does skip line here and there. Maybe like 10-15 times total, which is not bad at all. Sub. is white color, I hope it was yellow tho (I prefer yellow sub. personally).

Comment:

This is a story of Impact Blue, the female duo drivers in Initial D saga. Awsome addition to your Initial D collection. One warning: - If you havn't seen any Initial D before, don't start here. You'll be confused, and won't understand all the insider story/joke. However, if you far in one of the following five categories, do yourself a favor and get this: 1) You were hoping for Iketani and Mako to get together. And want to know more about what happened to them afterward. 2) You just can't get enough of Initial D series. Great music, CG, racing, and characters. 3) You love and/or appreciate car racing. 4) You are a pervert, and want to see 30 sec. worth of semi-naked Mako in shower. ^_^ 5) You are a female driver. And want to show your family what a "woman driver" can do. hehe. Overall, I think this is a series that most Initial D fans would appreciate. Hope that helped. ^_^
