Video:

The video is sharp and clear, the only drawbacks are some pixelation, though it is only noticable when red colours are displayed and some jitter in the first episodes.

Audio:

The audio is great quality, the audio streams are all in sync and very clear.

Subtitle:

Great subtitles which convey the storyline very well, they are also easy to read. The only issue is when several conversations are taking place the screen can sometimes get a little bogged down, making it hard to keep track of which subtitles belong to whom.

Comment:

This is an excellent series and easily one of my favourites. Boasting a deep and profound storyline and extremely three-dimensional characters as well as great mecha design. This is a series that you can watch over and over and discover something new everytime. A true work of art.

This is probably a R2 DVD-rip because all the titles are in English.

Audio:

There's a little bit of background noise.

Subtitle:

Some of the best HK subs I've seen, even almost all the Japanese signs are translated. The only problem with the subs is that if there are background conversations or voices in the background, they are subbed as well and simultaniously with the normal subs.
