Video:

100% R2 dvd rip; looks really really gorgeous, even slightly better than the 1st season from AV (which was already pretty good). Everything´s presented in anamorphic 16:9 widescreen. No pixelation, drop-outs or any other problems noticed, not even in very fast motion scenes. Perfect!

Audio:

2ch stereo mix in japanese only (of course). Sounds fine; no problems here either. Just don´t expect surround sound since it´s a regular TV-series.

Subtitle:

Seems like AV did a good job here; english subs appear just as good as from their 1st season. That means decent grammar, hardly any typos, correct timing and most names right (ok, some names of less important characters and places ended up translated into chinese).

Packaging 5/5 It´s a 3 dvd gatefold set and it looks simply... BEAUTIFUL! Has plenty of nice artwork all over it (propably taken from the original R2 covers). The discs are held securely in their place and look great as well. Splendid! Other details: Nice dvd menus with background music and animated chapter selections. Discs 1 + 3 even have an extras section, but all you get is a creditless opening & ending, that´s it. Each episode has chapters marks set for opening, part A, part B, ending, satellite poem, next episode preview. Imho a save buy, especially if you liked the 1st season .
