The image is a little blurry, especially in Scramble City, but is it still good with no pixelations.

The audio is clean and without any problem.

Subtitle:

The subs are good and synchronised. The Scramble city episode uses the American names(Autobots, Decepticons, Optimus Prime...) and Zone usese the japanese ones(Destrons, Ceibertrons...)

Comment:

For any fan of the transformers, this is a must. Scramble City is set between the end of Season 2 and the movie. It introduce Ultra-Magnus, Metroplex and Trypticon. Zone is set after Transformers Victory and was supposed to be the first episode of a new serie but the end was only published in the manga.

video is dark and bluish looking, seems like a bad transfer, no other problems detected

There's a persistent buzz during both ovas, seems like a bad transfer, otherwise the sound has no other mayor problems

the subs are pretty good, a couple of missing lines, some gramatical errors subs are hard coded, but if this doesn't bother you then is no biggie note: Scramble Zone uses in the subs the stardard american transformer nomenclatre (Autobot, Decepticon) while Zone uses the Japanese (Cybertron, Destron)

Menu is simple Play TransFormers:Sramble City or Play TransFormers: Zone this disc brings 2 seldom looked TransFormer stories Scramble city, a story that Brings Ultra Magnus, MetroPlex and Tripticon to the late 80's, this ova was made to bridge between the tv series and the movie in japan, where it got a later release than in the US (in the american version, they arrived in Transformers: the Movie) with a big transformer brawl between Superion, Menasor, Bruticus and Defensor and it leaves you in suspense filled ending :( Zone brings Dai Atlas and the micromasters into the fray, as the Destron Lord Violenjiger desires the creation of a new planet for the Destrons and wants to steal 2 powerful energy sources, the Energon Z and the Zodiac to make this happen, this was suppoed to be the 1st episode of a new series, but the ending was told in manga form :( If you like the transformers tv series and can live with this disc problems, it's recommended
