This is a TV rip, and a bad one at that. While the quality itself is so-so, there's always these solid, vertical lines on the screen that you can clearly see when brighter colors are on screen. (I've seen this both watching it in my DVD player and on my DVD drive) The studio could have at least put some filters through on these .. And the typical signs of a TV rip continue. Color lossage and "blending" is always present, and a "DVD Recording" dialogue box will occassional been seen at the beginning of an OP or an ED. I'm giving it a 2.5 because, although it didn't meet my expections, it could have been worse.

Audio:

I thought I noticed this somewhat on my TV, but trying it on my PC with headphones made obvious. The entire series was recorded too softly. You can still -hear- what's been spoken, but everything sounds so mono and droned out.

As the rating says, Average. For actual names, I think only Bear, B.T., Mimiru, and that A-20something kid retain their names. Everything else is entirely off-base (with Tsukasa being "Zea," Subaru being "Master Une," etc.) Engrish is constant here, but you can decipher what's being said until the show becomes a little more complex, and then .. err .. yeah. I'll just say after watching this series through on these subs, I needed a few lifelines who have seen it fansubbed to explain some things to me. ^^; Most of the Engrish revolved around when the characters were discussing the Key of Twilight. Then there's even one conversation between B.T. and Bear (I think) in the later episodes where only B.T.'s lines or subbed, or only Bear's lines are subbed, and it goes on for at least a minute. But, again (and unfortunately), it's not the worst I've seen.

Comment:

If you're going to watch this set, at least try to have a fansub script handy. The word "Play" is misspelled on the start-up on the third disc. :P

Comment:

personnaly I hated this series, didn't get into it, therE's too much talking and no action, so if you're looking for action this series ain't it at all. I listened to the first disc and it still hadn't picked up any intrigue after that I mostly forwarded the rest sicne I would of slept through the rest of this series. in any case I'm re selling my set because it's not worth to be in my collection. this series is basically talk talk talk, not much action, little infortmation on characters and I didn't even know it was a internet game until the characters started to mention " log in log off the server " the only thing that might keep you watching it is discovering the real identity and past of the main character (Zea) which you don't see that much after all.
