Video:

This DVD had a running time of about an hour. This DVD contains no mosaics. This is a rip. However, the video appeared a little "washed out," I am unsure if it was poor animation, transfer, or something else.

Audio:

I watched this title with Japanese audio and subtitles on. However, there is an English dub present for your enjoyment. The audio sounded great in stereo to me, you could hear all the moaning and whimpering clearly.

Subtitle:

Great English subs because it is a rip. There was about 1 missing line in the first half of the DVD, and about 2 missing lines on the second half of the DVD, however, these lines were not important to the action, but they did occur near the ending. There were a few small things I heard in Japanese that did not seem to match the subtitles 100%. (Very minor, nothing major, there was an interesting "Survivor" comment made) Text was also translated with subtitles, no overlays on title of episodes screen. One missing thing was subtitles on preview, I do not know if the source had these subtitles or not.

Comment:

Kind of interesting the title is Desert Island Story X, I would think it would be called "Deserted Island Story X" Packaging: The cover was OK with a picture of four of the girls. Back cover has some pictures and description. Bonus Materials: There were 2 extra gallaries under "Special Features" with pictures from the series and some other promotional artwork. Action scenes: There was a moderate amount of action and room enough for a story. There ARE scenes with RAPE. You also have some interesting jewelry (rings, etc), but I don't think it was too graphic. There are some violent scenes, but they aren't graphic at all. Character designs were OK, I liked the big eyes. In conclusion, this title was OK to me. If you liked the first one, go for it.
