I must say that this set is kind of crappy so far. I am only on the second disc and there have been numerous lines that were skipped and even one episode either 10 or 11 had the audio for episode two or three. The subs were there yet the audio wasn't makes you feel as if people are talking over the show. On the upside the show is superb excellent writing and animation for its time. Since I know a little japanese I can clarify that some of the lines that were skipped were not that important. Ex: Girl not subbed : Who was that on the phone? Guy after talking on the phone subbed: "That was my janitor?" other times it is just names or questions you figure out through the answers. Although once or twice so far there have been huge segments with no subs.

This set actually pissed me off! Video = 8/10 Good not gr8, definitely not up to DVD standards. Old-fashioned picture Audio = 9/10 Good not gr8 Subs = 4/10 Here's what pissed me off. What they do translate they translate well....... However they didn't translate about 1/2 of what's spoken. It's like at some points they would say whole sentences & they're would be no subs for it. So all U can do is get a basic idea of what's going on. Gets frustrating NOT knowing what they're saying. The menu kinda sucks too. looks like a VCD menu, if you've ever seen one. + OPs & EDs are scattered around edited by psxposed on 02 Oct 2002 3:30 am

My friend told me that this set is the same as the 10 disc set. So check the other set's reviews. Edit: My friend was very wrong. This set is nothing like the MI. I retract the previous statement. edited by Steve_the_Talking_Pie on 10 Nov 2002 8:11 am
