Video:
I agree with the previous review about the video. The clarity of colors, specifically the lack of contrast in some instances, is lacking. However, as was mentioned, no problems with any pixelation or blocking or skipping.
Audio:
Again, I agree with the previous review about the audio. Though the audio was out of sync, it didn't become readily noticable until maybe 1/3 into it, but it wasn't enough to make it hard to watch. Overall very good.
Subtitle:
The previous review was correct in that there were lines missing here and there as well as typos, but it is hard to forgive the changing of names for the English sub. Also, it appears that the subtitling was much more of a direct translation from the Japanese, and the grammar and spelling often are strange and definetly in need of editing for English readers. I noticed that some of the punctuation was off as well, periods where there should have been question marks, etc. While the story and dialogue that was taking place was adequately represented by the subtitles, it didn't really compliment the overall experience and left a great deal lacking.
Comment:
I saw this series (the first two eps) dubbed a while back, and so the subtitle issue is pretty harsh when one compares the two. I'm certain that the dubbed version was rewritten a lot to account for the different ways of expressing the same basic concept in both languages, there should have been more effort made to accomplish what the dubbed version (Leona's voice aside) did for it. The name-changes were especially agitating. It is unfortunate that the subtitling seem to overshadow what would otherwise be a well-crafted DVD. I do still recommend this DVD overall, so long as you know the characters' true names and the basic premise for the storyline.

Video:
Compared to other titles the picture here is a little too bright, so pitch black areas appear dark grey and most colours just aren´t vivid enough. But still looks good for an older show. At least no pixelation, ghosting or any other picture distortion. All openings, endings and next episode trailers are included in their original japanese version. No company logos or email spam at all.
Audio:
Overall a pretty good stereo mix with a small but annoying problem: in ep. 3 the audio track gets slightly out of sync. It´s about 1/2 sec behind the video signal for the whole episode, mostly noticable during dialogs and action scenes. All other episodes are fine.
Subtitle:
Subs are featured in english, chinese and italian language. As for the english ones, they seem like average HK originals; far from perfect but still quite understandable and well-timed. Just a few typos and missing lines during the show; most people won´t even notice. Next episode trailers are subbed as well. The most negative point are those annoying name changes like: Leona -> Rosen Al -> El Brenten -> Brendan Bonaparte -> Burnett Rubert or "the tank" Uni -> Yenni ...and so on. At least Anna Puma remained the same.
Comment:
Recently, MAC added another title to their AC-line: Crusher Police Dominion (aka New Dominion Tank Police). Unlike the MI version this one comes only on 1 disc, containing all 6 episodes. I´m not really sure where they ripped this from; could be an MI-rip. But somehow this also looks like an Indian Video release... looking at the subtitle font. Propably it´s been taken from MI after they ripped the Indian version. About the packaging: the dvd comes in a clear keep case with reversable cover design drawn by Masamune Shirow. Again, no logos or email addies found.
