Video:
As far as I could tell, there were absolutely no problems with the video, but it didn't exactly blow me out of the water.
Audio:
Pretty good audio, I don't have an extensive set-up, but it sounded alright.
Subtitle:
Perfect, except for one flaw. There was at least one scene where there were no subs for about thirty seconds.

I'd much prefer it if there were Trigun DVDs by Manga International - the subs are slightly better. Nevertheless, Trigun is excellent. Rated A

Video:
Very good video, but very minor pixilization and some rainbowing, but good still, especially because all of the intros were left intact.
Audio:
No problems.
Subtitle:
Very good. They almost seem like a mix between fansubs and HK originals. There's something about them (and that's not a bad thing). There's a couple mistimes, and a minute of unsubbed dialogue, but that's alright.
Comment:
A very safe set. Worth the money, but I'd wait for the FX version.

FX is going to do an R1 Rip set for this series. Many people like the Trigun DUB so I'd say wait for that.

Video:
Good video except for some bleeding sometimes.
Audio:
Very clear 2.0 japanese audio. I didnt give it a 5 because the menus are very loud compared to the show.
Subtitle:
A few missing lines but thats all.

This show is really something! and that you fit it in 4 disc instead of 6 doesnt make it worse.

The video and audio are fine with this release. There is very minor pixilization, but not enough to distract you from the show. The subs are great. There aren't too many issues with them. Some mistimes every once in a while, a few missed lines, and a couple unsubbed minutes, but other than that they're fine. If there's is only one negative thing about the set, it's the case. It's like a spindle in an enlarged DVD box. All 4 of the DVD's lie on top of each other. This is more of a personal issue with the packaging than a true problem.

This is a title that i'm glad to have purchased. First off i love Vash. Secondly i love Vash. Thirdly i love Wolfwood. Besides all that i find that the audio and video is dvd quality to my untrained eyes and unheightened ears. The subs are good enough so much that you don't flinch and will enjoy the show thoroughly.

Good set overall, the video is great, sound is great, subs are good but they have a few problems. Towards the later eps, the subs are mistimed by a few seconds, but only for pieces of the eps.

Since I'm sure all of you are tired of hearing me bicker and complain about all of the crap HK sets out there right now, I decided to gush about something I believe deserves the hype. I am, of course, talking about Trigun. What can I say? The audio and visual part of this is well covered -- it looks jaw-dropping on my set-up. Sure, it's going to knock off the Pioneer release, but it's darn impressive, I'll tell you. Subtitles are spot-on, with only a few inconsistencies (such as a couple of missing subs and the weird dollar sign thing). The songs are not translated, but as someone who normally ignores J-pop lyrics in the first place, I consider this a marked improvement. :o)

The Trigun 4 DVD Set from AnimeStudio, which is near identical to the Anime Cartoon release (You can see the red A being covered by the AS Globe Logo) is an excellent addition to anyones HKDVD/Anime collection. The video keeps a good amount of clarity throughout, keeping breakups to a bare minimum and grain is near non-existant. The subtitles are very good throughout, there are some grammatical errors and spelling errors, but very few, and with the exception of the missing minute at the end of episode 22 or 23, they are very consistant. Menus are basic, but who buys a DVD for the menu? The Audio is a little bit low when compared with the music on the menu, but it's nothing bad - it does seem to be inverted on our 5.1 setup, this is - however - not a big deal. Aside from this, I have no complaints with this set. It should be noted, as well, that these DVDs contain the Japanese Intros that were cut on the American R1 DVDs of the show. The R1 DVDs use the same intro for every episode, this set offers a slightly altered intro for each episode - often showing the bad guys and an additional action scene or two. Overall, a highly recommended set to a highly enjoyable show.

A very good set, not perfect as there are imperfections in video and subs, but its not bad at all. Quite a good release. Subs are excellent with some spelling errors and formatting here and there. A few lines are missing. The video is crisp, not as good as the official pioneer release but still quite good. I'd put this set on par with the Berserk set for comparison.... this has better video I would say.
