Overall:
Video:
Perfect video quality. A definite R2 rip, since the video is too clean to even be from a laser disc.
Audio:
No problem at all. The audio is in its original mono-hifi format but still sounds great.
Subtitle:
Much better sub-titling job this time around compared to the "Season 2 part 1" release. Some misspellings and occasional grammatical errors, but overall a damn good job.
Comment:
I really enjoyed this DVD release. My main problem with the previous Lupin set was that I found the episodes just plain dull in comparison to those from the First Season (add to that bad subtittles too). Part 2 here sees a slight return to the cleverer story plots and adult situations we expect from Lupin storys. A very solid MI Lupin DVD set.

Video:
Same criticisms that applied to the earlier sets. It's a good rip of an old show. I didn't experience any 'pauses' or glitches. Tested on: Pioneer 636 (RGB output0 + QED RGB Scart (video-only) cable + Hitachi 28" flat-widescreen.
Audio:
Again, old show = old audio. However, it's clear and I didn't notice any distortion.
Subtitle:
A lot better than 2nd TV Part 1, but perhaps not as good as the overall standard of the First Series. There's still a problem with some of the names (apart from the main characters, which are fine - Zenigata is spelt properly this time!). The Jackie Kennedy/Onassis parody has the Jacqueline translated as 'Sallis' and the assassin Puma becomes 'Bimen'. These are minor flaws although one thing I found sloppy was an episode that featured a boxing match - the ringside round counter flashes '4' and the announcer shouts "Round Four!" and the subs say "Round One".
Comment:
Gatefold in exactly the same style as the previous sets - hope they keep this up - so will sit nicely in your collection. 'Soft plastic' disc hubs/holders, which I like, but on this occasion mine were all broken so it' s damned difficult locking discs back in place. Opening menu is animated, not as stylish as the First Series, which had different menus for each disc, but better than the 2nd Part 1 set. Features 3D/CG-like portraites of Lupin and the gang - see screenshots. Menus are in Chinese only, but easy to navigate - Play All, Subtitles and Chapter (still no screenshots for easy chapter selection - the First Series really was slick!) There isn't much to say since this is the still the 2nd season and no dramatic changes have taken place (opening credits have changed from 2nd Part 1 and the very last episode of this set features another new opening). If you love Lupin and liked the First Series and Second Series Part 1, then you'll love this because I think this half of the season's stories are better.
