great english and Japanese voice note that these are form the original voices of the series. on my point, in the dubbed version I never liked Kaoru's and Yahiko's voice they just don't sound right. but that's my opinion

Subtitle:

subs are quite bad, lots of missing sub, important ones too. A character would speak but you'd only get the subs of the second line and not the first, so kinda good you got the english dub version too.

Comment:

great movie, but I'd by the ultimate collection of the OAV's and Movie by FX instead of buying this one. At least that's what I'm doing, and gicing this one to a friend that likes dubbed versions better than subbed versions.

Video:

Great, almost perfect but in 2-3 spots where there was close up fighting scenes there was a 1/2 second of a slight grainy picture.

Audio:

Great audio for dolby prologic 2.0. Only marked down because it was 2.0 and the voices weren't from the original kenshin tv series.

Subtitle:

Didn't really check this since i watch anime dubbed but when i had it on for a 10 minutes i didn't really see any thing wrong. Maybe a few fast subs.

Comment:

I wanted more extras then what it had. I hoped maybe this might have dolby digital but how many hk sets actually have dolby digital. The only extras on this dvd was a trailer for farscape off the sci fi channel.

Ok, the cover is horrible...... but everything else is great~ :D Audio : excellent Subs : great Dub : Voices don't fit, but yep, this is a R1 rip... Video : R1 rip, great! excellent! Extras : Stupid non anime movie promos.... Menus : The menus are nice~! I can't stand the words "samurai x".. but hey... it's got the bonus dub so I'm not complaining! not like I listen to it... well.. maybe just for kicks. :D hehehe.... Go get it, only if you can't find the original release in stores! I'm kinda upset they did not include the sketches the original vhs tape release had at the end of the movie....

It's an R1 rip, what can I say? Perfect! It even has all the (very few) extras. Video-- (5/5) Er... Yeah... *_* It's a rip, of course it'll have good video. *_* Audio-- (4/5) Er... Not perfect, but still great. A little quiet at some points, but still very, very great. Subtitles-- (5/5) Er... Yeah... *_* It's a rip... The subtitles are good. Very good, some of the best for HK discs. (IT'S A RIP!) Content-- (4.5/5) This is a very entertaining movie, and I'd suggest it to anyone. I'd also suggest this disc to anyone, seeing as how it's equal to that of the R1 disc, and it's helluva cheaper.
