I don't think it's as bad as others say, it is dvd quality-just not the best. There is some fuzzines here and there. Slayers Gorgeous is very good quality.
Audio:
Again quite good, no hissing, buzzing or other things. I didn't notice any "clipping".
Subtitle:
I was surprised how good they were, some mistakes, but not enough to cause concern-unless that kind of thing bothers you.
Comment:
As this is an out of print item it might be very hard to find. Being a big Slayers fan I enjoyed the heck out of this, if you are too you might want to try to get your hands on it.

Terrible video quality! You can tell that the quality gets blurry and dark right away. However, on some parts, you can see clearly. Close but no cigar!
Audio:
The audio on this set is VHS quality! So in other words, it's poor quality.
Subtitle:
The worst subtitles I've ever seen! The first movie had Engrishy subtitles, while some of them have okay subs. On the last movie, the subs have ridiculously bad timing. The subs would either be too early or too late. Such effortless work.
Comment:
This DVD set is a big waste of money! Good thing I borrowed it before I up and decided to buy it. The minute I saw the bad subbing on the last movie, I turned off my DVD player with disgust and brought it back to my friend. I think I'm better off buying the ADV movies. At least they have better subs and better quality (even if they changed the names for some spells). By all means, stay away from this set!

Video:
VHS rip..... waay too dark in most parts, yet totally over-saturated, color wise. It is interesting to see that in DVD#1 (OAVs) the ripper actually overloaded his video card (the red was way oversaturated) and green capture artifacts appear in at least one of the OAV episodes. IMO, very poor, would have rated lower, but it WAS watchable.
Audio:
WAY too loud. It actually clips out quite a lot. Then again, VHS audio sucks.
Subtitle:
Most of the subs make sense, kind of... The timing on the subs is awful, and huge sections are left untranslated.... however, it beats the pants off of animes I've seen.
Comment:
I don't reccommend this title.
