Overall:
Video:
Video was fine. Good source other than TV.
Audio:
Audio was good too.
Subtitle:
Subtitles are REALY bad. I ranted about haw bad Part 3 was and it apparently only goes downhill from there. I hate it when they mess up the names. I hate it even more when the wrong names are not consistent throughout the volumes! Perhaps the subs on the AV set are better? Someone needs to release this with good subs. On a side not, the OVA that follows this disk the subs are much better.
Comment:
A great anime that is not getting the attention it deserves. Because of the subs I cannot recommend this to anyone but the most diehard fans.

Video:
Good Video. A little pixelation on fast action scenes.
Audio:
Nothing to complain about on my simple stereo TV.
Subtitle:
Baaah! The subs suck! Must be the worst I've seen so far (and I've seen a lot). Even worse than for part 3. And as the story is more complicated than in the early sets, with all this rivalling groups and those spider assasins, it's very hard to follow. And some names that were quiet close (phonetically) in the previous sets are now messed up (something like "Xiji" for Gon). They do get better (slightly) from episode 4 (2/5), but I'll stick to my previous rating.
Comment:
Ok, I finished this disc now. Too bad about the subs, because the story really would have needed better ones. Much darker than some of the previous story arcs, whith everything revolving around the spider assasins and Kurapika's quest for revenge. Only recommended to those with very high "Engrish" skills. (But of course, if you've seen the pevious parts, you may still want to watch it)
