First what's in it: It's just a retelling of the TV series up to about eps 40. I'm not sure about the exact eps number but it ends after the fight between Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru. Some main events are: -Kikyo + Inuyasha -Kagome + Inuyasha (Kagome shattering Shikon no Tama) -Fighting/meeting with: -Miroku, Sango, Kouga, Sesshoumaru It's divided in 5 eps (running time still is only 45min) If you have the TV sets there is absolutely no reason to get this. I wonder why this is called special. The only thing that is special is that they cheat customers (fortunately it's only 1 DVD and I got it cheap so I don't care) Now for the quality: I remember reading that the quality of AV's Inuyasha is supposed to be good. Well concerning this AV release WRONG!!! Examples: The most annoying thing was that they translated the attacks/weapons -Kazaana=wind hole -Tessaiga=Iron-breaking Sword (or Claws of Steel) -Tenseiga=Healing fang -Kaze no Kizu=Cutting Wound other stuff: -they use "I" instead of "she" or "he" instead of "she" -Onigumo=Ghost spider -Shikon no tama=Jewel of four souls ...... Anyone feel my pain or do you want more I also got the feeling that some sentences were translated wrong. The only acceptable point is the video quality. It may even be slightly better than MI's (not that this would be an outstanding performance). My conclusion is stay away from this. I may be too sensitive because it's Inuyasha but why pay for smth that isn't new with crappy subs?
