Video:

There is a lot of fuzziness and pixelation which can be distracting. It's difficult for me to really notice these things, though, and the video doesn't appear to be particularly bad or good.

Audio:

Since this series is about a girl's experience with music, the audio is rather important. The audio doesn't fade or cut out, which is good. I can't hear anything distinctively bad about it.

Subtitle:

The subtitling is particularly bad at translating things which makes it very difficult to understand what's going on. The translations are very literal which might be the reason why this is. But who in their right mind translates "Father" as "Pah"?? Fortunately, there were no timing issues with the subtitles and no Chinese mixed in.

Comment:

This series is a very slow very shoujo slice-of-life which might not appeal to everyone. I found it to be a really good series to get into, but this DVD isn't worth buying with the amount of problems with it.
