Absolutely no complaints, FX is one of the best groups I know whitch make these box sets.

Audio:

Perfect

Subtitle:

Never used it so I will just give it a five, but it should be the same as the domestic Rurouni Kenshin DVD subtitles because thats where they got it from.

Comment:

Very cool, one thing you should know is that they switched producers in the later seasons. Because after the Shisho saga the show you will notice will take a drastic change. Especially in the later seasons you will see the art change into more "CG" or something else whitch I dont know. I found myself saying "What the Mothe* F*** is this crap?". e-mail me if you have any questions: [email protected]

Pretty much just like the frist set the video is really good with minor pixilation here and there that you can only notice on dark scenes.

Audio:

Once again great audio on this set for both the english and japanese no sync problems no nothing just great audio.

Subtitle:

Once again the subs are great for this set with no errors that i saw and no missing lines either just great stuff perfect R1 rip with the same exact font that the frist set had.

Comment:

Rurouni Kenshin rules without a doubt it really sucks that they cancelled the series for those of you who dont know the story i will explain it to you, the original japanese company that distributed Kenshin in japan, once the Shisho saga was over in the anime they decided to give the creator of Kenshin some time off to finish the manga since it wasnt done at the time, with all hopes of returning to adapting back to manga once it was done so they decided to pretty much create this false 3rd season before the season could even end the show got cancelled and no real ending was ever shown thats why if you notice the last episode really dosent make sence however they indeed did release the OVAs some time later which somewhat showed what happend later in this story however just let me say this and please for those of you who dont want to know please dont read ahead, the last two OVAs in my mind were terrible and I'm sure most of you noticed alot of things were very inaccurate the only thing that was right about that ova was the fight Kenshin ended up having with Tomoa's brother however even that was hardly even shown and of course that terrible ending killing off poor Kenshin was even wrost just let me say this in the real manga comic there is a real ending and it is indeed a happy one :) anyway i got carried over myself im supposed to be reviewing this dvd set not the whole kenshin story lol anyway even though most of the 3rd season was made up it is still good and very enjoyable kinda takes a new twist but very intresting i recommend this series and boxset to everyone FX again delivers Awesome set indeed anime rating in total 9/10 hope you found all of this info helpful.

Audio:

Your normal 2 channel japanese and english dub. Perfect sync.

Subtitle:

Nice subs. No engrish.

R1-rip. Just perfect =P.

Audio:

Same as above.

Subtitle:

Same here. It doesn't get 5 because some in some episodes there is 1 or 2 lines which are unsubtitled. Perfect spelling, grammar and no errors in the characters names (this is rare ^^;;).

Comment:

Best HK set i've ever bought. R1 perfect rip. The package is really awesome and it has many extras (outtakes, art design, characters techniques.....). A must-have for rurouni kenshin fans.

Basically, it's exactly the same quality as the first set, i.e. minor pixilation, but it still looks fine.

Audio:

Pretty good. I can only recall there being an audio synch issue on one episode, and that was on disc 12. Also, I pretty much on listened to this show in English, so I really only know the overall sound quality for this track. However, I did spot check the Japanese track. It is there.

Subtitle:

As stated earlier, I watched this show in English, so I only spot checked the subs, but they are R1 rips and just fine.

Comment:

I recall someone stating how they had problems with disc 12 freezing on them over at the Arcticnightfall boards. I experienced no such problem, so I assume it's an isolated problem. The rest of the second season was sick. It had some great fights and a pretty good story. The third season is what happens when the anime gets to the point and passes where the manga is currently at. It's not bad, but it's not as good as the first and second seasons. (And between you and me, I though the ending to the third was :( , really) All things considered, I'd give this show a 5/5

Pretty much the same as my review for set one.

Comment:

Here is a list of the outakes for the second set: Disk 7: Outakes Disk 8: Outakes - Attack List - Character Messages Disk 9: Outakes - Creditless Opening Disk 10: Outakes - Creditless Opening Disk 11: Outakes - Creditless Opening Disk 12: Outakes - Creditless Opening The character messages i guess were the best extra followed by the outakes from this set.
