For an old show this is pretty good quality... It suffers from the usual dull colours but apart from that its great... The review for the MAC set says it was recorded from tv but this is certainly not the case here as this has definatly come from a digital source...

Audio:

Just average quality for an old show... I don't have a big audio setup so I can only tell you it sounded ok from my sony tv...

Hmmm this is where It goes wrong... but the truth is I couldn't tell you why exactly because I don't know much Japanese. I just felt like they where making it up... It's not engrish but some of the phrases just don't fit with whats happening.... They are about 60% accurate I am guessing. Lastly they completely messed up the names and Memoru is called about 3 different names in the first ep alone! I don't know the other characters names so I can't say what they are ment to be but they didnt sound right... Sorry to have to say the tired old phrase but 'it's still very understandable'!

Well this review is just a quick one as i've only seen the first disc so far but I thought i'd post it now as I doubt I will get to see the others for a while (Detective Conan is just to good to turn off!) The cover artwork on this set is just beutiful! The set is quite fat as it is 6 discs and each disc has a cute pastel colour picture on it.... The menus are quite sweet aswell and are in chinese and english with the theme tune playing in the background... When ive finished watching it all i'll just add a quick comment to say all went smoothly...
