Based on the manga of the same name, Crying Freeman is the multi-part OAV that tells the tale of the Freeman, an assassin who works for the mysterious mafia group the 108 Dragons, who cries every time he kills. One day an innocent woman sees the Freeman kill three men and is in awe at the grace of his kill. When he is sent to kill this woman who witnessed the killings, the Freeman is unable to and as such a bond is formed between the hunter and the hunted. Both of them on the run, with emotions out of control, the Freeman tries to break from his conditioning so that he may lead a normal life...<br />
