The animation has a dark gothic style that surpasses Vampire Hunter D., and the characters are realistically drawn. The soundtrack is amazing, the theme songs are great and the background music has a mysterious melodramatic feel. The characters, animation, and music are the highlights of this anime. The storyline (everyone is an introvert with a troubled past) and action scenes are a little slow. I am expecting this to be a classic series (since the theme is so cool), and can't wait to watch Vol 2.

Comment:
Interesting concept for a TV series--a specialized group that takes care of witches. For the first 8 episodes, every story is fairly self-contained, with different super-natural powered foes being handled each time. Hopefully they this series will build up to something much bigger.
