Overall:
Video:
Flawless video with no noticeable errors. Colors are nice and bright.
Audio:
Dunno if audio is screwed up or if it was done on purpose, but the whole movie sounds like other anime shows when they are doing flashback sequences. Since this movie came out about 10 yrs after the show and is a sort of bridge between it and the "Crossroads" movie (which occurs later in the storyline) it might have been done on purpose.
Subtitle:
Very nice with the exception of getting every single characters name changed.
Comment:
If you liked the show this is a must have. It takes place 2 yrs later & shows you where everybody from the show winds up (with the exception of coach Kashiwaba). You may be wishing more for some of them, but it also helps keep this show grounded in reality. I'd rate it a 9 out of 10

Overall:
Video:
No artifacting, or any other weird errors. Solid transfer.
Audio:
Not sure if the "hollow" effect is part of the movie or the transfer. Sounds as if people are speaking in small, closed rooms with lots of bouncing voices.
Subtitle:
I'm not sure what language they are getting the names from, as it hardly sounds Cantonese or Mandarin and it sure as hell isn't English or Japanese. Probably due to Malaysian translators or some such outsourcing for the translations. The script is understandable, but there are some bad mistranslations or lines that just don't make sense. There is a fansub VHS version out there if you want an alternative.
Comment:
The case could use some work... Packaging stinks. Menu is simple and there are no chapter breaks.
