Superb. Very clean and crisp.

No complaints in sounds.

It has the occasional mispelling in words. Otherwise, easy to read.

Comment:

Great anime. It's divided into 3 short stories, each directed by a different director. The animation is wonderful, original plot and storyline in each short. Highly recommended for serious anime fans.

Video:

Good with pixelation in dark scenes/backdrop.

Like "Manie manie", it also an artsy title but containing 3 stories with more substance(plot). It's true that "Stink Bomb" is probably the best of 3 but the other 2 aren't bad themselves. Every episode, especially "Magnetic Rose", does live up to its name. I enjoy watching "Memories" more than watching "Manie manie".

Pretty much nothing to complain bout here quality wise, looks to be a DVD ripp. <br /> Only some minor macro-blocking in places. <br /> What is somewhat interesting, is that this MAC release seems to be a straight copy of an AS release.... judging from the AS logo that ominously appears every 15 or so minutes - I guess thats my only complaint, I hate those logo's...but hey (^_^)

Audio:

Pretty much perfect, Japanese Dolby 2.0, although the stream didn't seemed to be named (i.e. Jap, Eng) which is kinda strange.

Subtitle:

This is the only minor downfall of the release, overall the subs aren't that bad, they appear to be a fansub's, but suffer from minor engrish and kinda frequent misspellings, and small timing and duration problems. <br /> But overall its still highly watchable and easy to keep up with.

Comment:

This release is definately worth the money, especially if your a fan of the film or Katsuhiro Otomo.
I really like this film (or set of films should I say) its rather arty, and a bold feature release I believe. Katsuhiro Otomo is an anime great, and anyone that hasn't seen this, I highly recomend it. (^_^)
