Video:

Video was very clear, no macroblocking, very little bleeding.

Audio:

Audio was clear, no distortion, buzzing, hissing, etc. The english dub was outstanding, I did'nt even brother with the japanese track.

Subtitle:

I sampled the subs just to check and they seemed identical to the R1's.

Comment:

This is an excellent series, I really like Fem and Ihrie. It has a quality like a good book. The characters are very well done, it has a D&D type theme to it. It might be compared to Slayers-but it's quite different, it's true that Ihrie and Fam have a Lina-Ghorry kind of relationship.

Video:

Video was good throughout, even though the openings and closings looked similar to VHS quality, I'm not sure why maybe it was the hard subs. Other than that it was fine

Audio:

Audio was actually pretty good. I watched with the japanese track and switched to english a few times to see what was said with the missing subtitles

Subtitle:

Subtitles were almost perfect(good timing, And visibility) except for the 1-3 lines missing on each episode.

Comment:

This set is pretty good for the price, 4 half hour episodes no extras though.

Video:

THe video was very good, as good as the R1 that I also own, no pixelation or other noticeable distortion.

Audio:

Audio was very good, again as good as the R1 disc.

Subtitle:

Being as this IS aa R1 rip, excellent.

Comment:

I have to say this is one of my all time favorite anime series. The english dub is excellent, better than the original Japanese. Course I gotta admit I like my anime dubbed whenever possible. This is a series that will tug at your heart, very hjighly recommended.

Video:

The video was sharp and without any pixelation. There were 2 or 3 dropouts though

Audio:

Audio was crystal clear. This is based completely on the Japanese Audio. I don't ever bother with english dubs.

Subtitle:

What subtitles were there were spelled correctly and timed correctly. All three episodes had 2-4 missing lines.

Comment:

Nice set. a very good r1 rip too. My review is also based on watching the entire 3 episodes too. I like the clear case and reversable cover as well
