I regreted buying this one but not because the of the dvd quality. the video was close to dvd quality and the audio sounded great on the stereo. There were no major problems with subtitles. However, this series blows. The story was awful, and the cg mixed in was awful. I read some reviews on it that said it was good but they were wrong, it sucked. I wish there was a problem with the dvd to stop me from sitting through the whole thing. Once i saw the first episode it seemed promising, but it wasnt.
