Video:

Like if you have pick up the series on TV. Not really good, but also not really bad. It's like looking to your TV tapes.

Audio:

Very hard to find the sound in the first case. I had to put the sound systems higher and higher 'til the sound was so that you could cleary understand it. The opening and closing song goes straight to head. You will sing them for I week I guess ^.^

Subtitle:

The subs remembers a little bit on fansubs. Sometimes good, sometimes bad and most of the time ok.

Comment:

Cat's Eye is an old Anime Series and has his own fans. I really like it, but the DVD was not so great as I had excepted. For fans it really has something. But you have to be a fan in other case you won't be happy with this DVD Set.

Video:

ugh... there's some color bleeding going on in the first few episodes. but after that, the video is ok. i don't know what the source is. it's an old show so the video is so-so. review equipment: hdtv

Audio:

the audio (jap only) seems to be super low. i had to crank my volume way up. review equipment: 650 w 5.1

Subtitle:

*sigh* sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad. when it's good, it's like fansub, but when it's bad, it has missing verbs, incorrect uses of pronouns, and words jumbled randomly to make a sentence.. some missing lines here and there as well. only seen the first 3 discs but if there's no edit after this, the quality is consistent with what i said.

Comment:

the gatefold is generic. just says MAC. i doubt the 1 other person in the world who bought this set cares. It's an old show, not many people care or know of it. but if you're interested in the show, this is pretty much your only alternative. oh yeah, this is just an Anime Studio repack.
