Video:

pretty good video however there were some instances of noticable pixelation.

Audio:

the audio didnt have any glitches or anything... it was just low quality soud.. and it is made very noticeable because the music in the menus is regular quality sound...

Subtitle:

sadly the subs were not that spectacular... in many places the subs were left out though that decreased during the specials... also none of the songs or the signs that showed up during the series were subbed (like if there was writing that appeared on the screen it wouldn't be translated with the exception of the silent movie style episode) and the the simple jokes were often left untranslated... however they did a good job on translation the jokes that were a play on words...and in the last 3 (?) episodes of the tv series-- may have been the whole last disk of the TV series-- the subtitles lagged behind like one person. and lastly during ther series the email addresses of the people who mad the set kep appearing... it was quite a nuicence....

Comment:

this set was an anime studio rip... i found the christmas sp subs to be the best...another thing is that its 1 ep per chapter on the dvd so its a pain to navigate the episodes... BTW: I watched the series on a Toshiba DVD player hooked up to a tv, not on the computer...

Video:

I didn't notice any major problems here..In my opinion, I did notice some pixelation in the opening credits when Naru throws poor Keitaro..Other than that the colors were bright, clear and crisp which leads me to believe that this was ripped from perhaps a R2 disc...

Audio:

I have a basic stereo TV and didn't notice any humming or anything remotely similiar to other HK dvds which I've seen in the past...My only complaint is that I wish I could make it slightly higher..I enjoy watching my anime really loud dunno why :shrugs shoulders:..Its seems no matter how hard I tried to blast it it wouldn't get any higher..perhaps it was my dvd player

Subtitle:

Beautiful fansub script used throughout the TV series..The 5 discs which accompany the package consist of the first 3 discs are the TV specials and the other 2 are the specials..Sadly the quality of subs takes a downward spirial when it comes to the specials..I would rate the specials to have a rating of 4/5 and the TV series itself to have a rating of 5/5..I mean whomever did the subtitling translated all the jokes and kept it funny =)..You dont have to worry too much about the specials it's just you get spoiled watching 24 eps or so with perfect subtitling and then having a few errors here or there..

Comment:

I really enjoyed this series..It may offend some viewers due to some panty shots and breast grabbing but man this show had me laughing..Not to diss Ranma but this has to be by far the funniest show that I've ever seen in long while..I really suggest getting this series..It's full of random silliness and emotional ups and downs..Love Hina rocks and hopefully you get a chance to take a look at it..Let's go Shinobu!
