Instead of translating the name's from Japanese to English, they use japanese-chinese-english so every character's name was in Chinese. I hate when they do that The translation from Japanese to English is good but not that great. There were 2 bad phrases per episode like this one in Episode 1. Reika says: " May I go in ??", it should have been translated May I come in ??". They translated Oni(demon) for Ghost in Episode 1-2 and then in Episode 3, it's now Genie. There were 2-3 mispelled word in all, the syntax and ponctuation was okay. The subtiming is awseome in Episode 1 and 3. Episode 2 is okay until the middle, it's 1-2 seconds early for 5 minutes but it returns to normal near the end

This is probably the bloodiest hentai I've seen (nobody tops the anime Berserk) especially the first few minutes of Episode 1. There are many h-scene in every episode, here's the rundown (and all of them are censored) Episode 1 - Two demons H-scene, 1 normal h-scene Episode 2 - One demon H-scene, 1 lesbian scene and 1 normal h-scene Episode 3 - Two demon H-scene, 1 normal h-scene The storyline was pretty good, It was one mystery after another. With 5 beautiful girls to travel, Reika never gets tired of them.The action scene were awseome especially the first one in Episode 1. I never knew the outcome of the story until the end, very entertaining to watch. Overall, I like Red Lotus/Guren a lot. With plenty of h-scene, action and suspense, you can't ask for more Every girls is sexy as hell and they all have their erotic features in their ninja suits. Watch it, you won't regret it HIGHLY RECOMMANDED (don't look for a R1 version, it might take a while before it's licence) Extras: Trailer of Guren Episode 1 and 2 Packaging: Best h cover I've seen to date with 5 girls on the cover (beats my r1 Heat for all Season hentai cover) Haruka is on the center, Ayano on the left, Akane on the right, Kerua on the upper-left and Misaki on the upper-right Why Tsukikage not on the cover ?? Red Lotus ? MI Blood, guts, hot anime chicks, and sex. There was a lot of violence in this title. Be forewarned, some of the women explode in a shower of blood in this release. Video: Looked fine in my Apex DVD player. The Pioneer DVD-ROM drive did OK with it. The video glitched in two places, but it was for less than a second and did not hurt anything. Might be a DVD source? Audio: Sounded OK on my systems. Stereo. Lots of sound effects of waterfalls of bloods and other stuff shooting out. Content: There was a lot of demon sex in this title. I particularly enjoyed the character designs, and the voice actresses of the girls weren?t bad. (Of course, there was Ohhhing and Ahhing going on a lot. >D ) I think there was a lesbian scene, and 2 straight scenes, the rest of them were demon scenes. There were some humorous scenes, especially with the dog. I really liked the cover of this DVD. Included on this DVD was two trailers and 3 episodes (I think this is complete). Subs: Engrish sprinkled about and Chinese names. I semi-understood what was going on most of the time. In a piece of the second part the subs timing were a little off, but caught up in a little while. Something weird is that oni (demon) was translated as ghost and genie. Hentai was translated as psychopath in one part? :D Overall: This title seemed pretty bloody overall, but definitely delivered in the hentai department. If you like the girls on the cover, I would pick it up.
