Overall:
Video:
There is almost nothing wrong with the video in this set. It appears to be from the R2 DVD at that. The only minor issues are: 1) The MI watermark 2)MI e-mail address and website (shows up a few times), and the screen jitters for a few seconds in a few of the episodes (not the laserdisc type of jitter). None of these are all that distracting, except for the e-mail and website stuff. At least that only shows up a couple of times.
Audio:
No issues at all.
Subtitle:
It looks like fansubs were used, except for the first episode. That has a engrishy feel to it. Other than that the subs are fine, but sometimes, there is a mistimed sub, but that doesn't happen often. The next episode previews were subbed, but those are entirely engrish. Also, some DVD start and stop animation with the main characters is present, and is also subbed, but, alas, it too is engrish.
Comment:
This is a safe buy and I recommend it. As an overall score for the series itself, I would give it a 4/5. Also, if you're curious, episodes 1-5 are on disc 1 and 6-13 are on disc 2.

Studio: Manga International Episodes: 1-13 Video: 5/5 Clear and crisp, DVD quality. Audio: 5/5 Clean and nice, no problems. Subtitles: 4/5 Mistiming problems all throughout, but not enough to really kill anything. The worst part is when there's a long stretch of no-dialogue and the previous subtitles goes onto the next section of the episode. Some typos as well. Chaptering: Prologue, OP, episode. Bonuses: None. Menus: Still, with BGMs, English. Content: The entire show's here. Impression: Not too bad, I heard the FX was perfect. The timing issues really kill this set.
