I'm on episode 3 right now. Now I like giant robot anime, so i'm not really complaining... but is this show ever gonna get original? So far it seriously feels like they made a conscious effort to combine neon genesis and rhaxephon into one show...

So this is not really that fantastic? Was thinking of getting the geneon set for my bf since he only watches either mecha or fanserv anime....

If he likes mecha I think he'll like it. I do. I just think it's funny just how much it seems like they tried to combine neon genesis and rahxephon. If he liked those he'll like this i'm sure.

He neither likes neon nor does he like rahxephon. He said they are boring. He only likes the gundam series...
Nah...he's not an anime fan anyway.

Ah ya I see. Gundam is quite a bit different than those shows. I'd keep away from fafner then.
