I've never heard of the Ninja Scroll OVA series, only of the movie and the TV series.
My boyfriend has already watched Last Exile and loved it (it is indeed amazing!) but he doesn't like Lupin III so much. I've never heard of The Hakkenden either but I'll definitely look into it.

Sorry, I meant the Tv series. He did'nt enjoy Lupin...hmmm.Have u seen Record of Lodoss War, similar to Orphen.

I've seen the Record of Lodoss OVA's and I'm dying to get my hands on the TV series. I thought of giving him the MAC set but it hasn't been in the store for a very long time. Besides, that would be more of a present for me than for him because he doesn't even know if he likes it. :p
