How much have you spent on HK anime.
I may check it out. Sometimes I like brainless shows. Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

I wouldn't call it brainless. I just don't know where it's going yet.

I heard it was bad, but I heard Devil man was bad too, and I loved that so you never know. Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Have you seen the 90's 4 OAV version of Devilman. It came out on two tapes subtitled by US Renditions and then dubbed only by Manga Video. I own the US Renditions version, thank God. Anyways the second tape sucked a little but the first tape has to be some of the best anime available. I though it was just some of the best there is to offer.

I rented the US renditions tapes at blockbuster years ago. I agree that they are very well done. Go Go Nagai! Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Devilman Lady was okay. I really liked the early episodes (first half). Very oppressive feeling. Didn't especially like the end parts. Especially felt that the ending was very weird and kinda stupid (ask me for details if you want).

I'm buying it on R1, so I hope I continue to like it.

Hmm, maybe I should reply to this topic. =P I guess I have around 350 DVD's now.. Most of them are HK but I have stuff like Kimagure Orange Road box, Tenchi OAV, lots of season 1 pokemon R1's.. Averaged out it probably comes to around $12 per disc when I mix the R1's in.. so that would be.. oh my. $4200? *sob*Good god, I never really stopped to think about it. I'm gonna log out now. =P

Personally, I have spent under $2000 in 4 years, but I buy and sell alot. My friend in the condo across from mine has spent more than that on one series (LOGH, well worth it but...). That cost 231,000 yen.
