OK, I haven't been watching Dragon Ball Z long but man, can that show draaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag it on. So Goku needs a minute to rest so he can recover his power to fight Buu but how long in the HELL is one minute on the show? 2 FREAKING EPISODES. Where in the galaxy is that one minute from? Certainly not earth time.
Thank God for Tivo. I fast forward through the show in 3 minutes and I didn't miss a thing.

DBZ has an issue at stretching things out, but after you get over that fact, its actually very enjoyable show... I used to hate it with a passion, until i sat down and watched some ;p
now i am a big fan... the original japanese uncut english sub version is great, dont go for those cartoon network hacks... watch the original

I used to be a big fan of DBZ, probably because it was like the first anime I ever remember watching. But, then after I watched Trigun, & a few other titles I didn't like DBZ AS much because it has WAY to much filler to waste time. I used to defend it, because I didn't care, but now to heck with it,m there's titles out there that move at a spped more to MY liking. But, I do still sit down & watch DBZ on Cartoon Network every now & then, & I still find it amusing, but not as much as I used to.

If Max Collins, Matt Skiba, Jimmy Urine, & Mark Phillips had a child it would be one fu*ked up mofo, but 'it' would be the God of music.

What a way to waste Tivo. I could care less what you don't like. My mother told me if you have something bad to say, you deserve a taste from the back of me hand.

You know what is even more stupid. People who yell about DBZ being stupid and not even stepping back to realize that it was a show made for 10 year old Japanese boys.

DBZ does drag on quite a bit. I prefer the manga. It is very well done. No pacing issues whatsoever. The show does have alot of filler, but at least give it a chance in its japanese form. It is very enjoyable.

Wasn't the Anime drug out like that because they were trying to release it at the same time as the manga, but the anime got ahead of it, so they put in a lot "useless" junk to slow it down so that the manga could lead the seires?

Yep. Toei, and Toriyama were working at the same time during Dragonball Z. That is why there is so much filler. It would be nice if some company would go and make some OVA's that encompass the entire series.
