Ah, ah! No! Portugal and Brazil are like brothers. We were after all the ones who discovered and colonized Brazil and we speak the same language. I've known Brazilians my whole life, they're the largest group of immigrants residing here in Portugal, and their culture is very present in our daily lives. Like Carnival for instance. We now have the same sort of Carnival parades they do albeit at a much smaller level. It's quite absurd though, because in Brazil it's summer time but here it's winter time so seeing women dancing on the streets wearing practically nothing with this cold is plain ridiculous.
Anyway, this is why I know a lot about them. Any Portuguese does.
